Each piece is stained by hand giving it a natural, aged appearance.  Benefits are less weight (reduced shipping costs) and greater strength.We recommend no less than 5 rebar posts when ordering a corpus (a smaller corpus can use only 4 rebar posts). The rebar is built into the corpus, reinforcing its limbs. For each rebar post ordered, we will also add a post to the back of the statue for mounting. When you order 5 rebar posts, you will receive a statue with a post in the back of each hand, both shoulder blades, and one rebar post in the feet. This allows you to insert the rebar posts into the predrilled holes of the cross. We also include nuts that can be threaded onto the post to secure it in place.
