This Vilnius (original) image is truly awesome! I much prefer it to the Hyla version. I remember seeing a devotional flyer in the 1950's; The Hyla image on it, I just did not like; Our Lord's face seemed coarse, so I dismissed the devotion entirely. When I finally discovered the original image, I immediately became a devotee! The "white hot" mercy originating from His Heart which tempers down into the two rays draws my attention, as He steps into our darkness bringing His "kindly Light" . Quick delivery too!
