It can easily be replaced by a photo trimmed to about 2 7/8in square. Window size at top is 2 5/8in diameter. Inside box is a smaller compartment that contains the high quality Sankyo musical movement. When key is wound, music will play when lid is open and stop when it is closed. Plays the song: Wonderful World. The storage compartment has a luxurious black velvety lining. Pads on bottom of box protect your furniture. Overall box size is about 5 x 5 x 2 3/4.

At first glance its a wonderful, beautiful product. We will havi it indoor for the wintter. As for the sturdiness we will need a summer to see how it holds up. But overall seems to be awell made and everything it is advertised to be.
